Role overview

This is a remote role, open to candidates based in Netherlands.

About the role

You understand how businesses really work. You know where workflows stall, information is missing, and decisions take longer than they should. And you want to explore how AI can fundamentally change that.

Whether you come from consulting or have spent years designing and managing processes within an industry, at Machines Like Me, you’ll use your experience to bring new AI technologies into everyday business operations.

Your role

• Explore our clients’ processes to uncover connections, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with business teams and management to build a clear picture of how AI can transform the way they work.
• Assess use cases for value and feasibility, translating them into concrete requirements.
• Design solutions alongside our technical team, test new approaches, and support their rollout across the business.
• Take ownership of client projects and bring people with different perspectives together around a shared solution.

What you bring

• Several years of experience in consulting, process design, or a business role with significant responsibility, for example in production, logistics, procurement, finance, or sales.
• A deep understanding of how your industry operates, with experience improving processes and implementing change.
• Technical curiosity and a willingness to explore AI and its practical applications in depth.
• The ability to ask the right questions, explain complex topics clearly, and get people on board with change.
• A proactive, independent approach, excellent German, and confident English communication skills.

Your industry experience matters

You don’t need to have “AI Consultant” on your business card or have developed AI systems yourself. What matters is that you understand processes deeply, take ownership, and are ready to learn new technical skills. Your practical experience will form the foundation of effective AI solutions.
